Assembler PositionNesco Resource is currently sourcing for assemblers for a manufacturing/logistics client of ours in Canton, Michigan. Shift: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday-Thursday, some OT Saturday. Alternative schedule is available. Location: Canton, MI. Pay rate: $17.50/hr. Job duties:Installing rear light assemblies and cameras for vehicles per product specificationsPrepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materialsPositions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurementsAssembles components accurately by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassembliesVerifies specifications of completed builds by measuring complete componentsPerform visual inspection to ensure no scratches or other deflects before packagingTroubleshoot and resolve issues involving camera installation and machine issuesPerform machine checks daily for proper workflowMaintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededSkills/qualifications:High school diploma or GED requiredMin of 1 year of manufacturing experience requiredPrevious warehouse experience, preferredAbility to lift 25lbsAbility to stand, stoop, and kneel for extended periods of timeNesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
