JNH/IPS Weekend RNs The Mississippi State Hospital, located near Pearl, MS is accepting resumes until noon, Thursday April 2, 2026, for the purpose of hiring (1) One Contract Weekend RN to work on our Jaquith Nursing Home and (4) four Contract Weekend RNs to work on our Inpatient Psychiatric Services. RFx 3150006772 Weekends will consist of Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The ideal candidate must be willing to work two or more weekends a month, with a minimum of 24 hours and a maximum of up to 40 hours each weekend, plus a minimum of 6 state mandated holidays including Christmas or Thanksgiving. Scheduled holidays will be determined based on the needs of the hospital. The Pay Rate for a Contract Weekend RN is $42/hr. The Contract will begin on or after July 1, 2026, and end June 30, 2027. Requirements: Applicant must possess an unrestricted MS Nursing License, American Heart Association BLS and or ACLS certifications. TB or crisis prevention certification is a plus.
