Senior SCADA Application Developer / Engineer

Kforce has a client in Juno Beach, FL that is seeking a Senior SCADA Application Developer/Engineer.Job Duties & Responsibilities:Provide cutting-edge technical and/or functional contributions to application development teamsAnalyzes, designs, develops, tests, debugs, implements, maintains and/or enhances existing or new systems, that are reliable and efficientDevises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems, and prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be writtenApplies appropriate development methodologies, system development lifecycles, tools and technologyCollaborates on an on-going basis with the Business Systems Analyst, Scrum Master and Technology managerParticipates in the ticket management and resolution processes, including receiving, resolution monitoring and customer satisfactionLeads large projects as neededProvides direction, training and guidance to rest of team membersBuilds strong working understanding & documenting of the solution being deliveredPerforms other job-related duties as assignedWorks in Hitachi GMS SCADA system & provides guidance to rest of team members* High School diploma/GED requiredBachelor's degree or equivalent experience8+ years of Java programming experience3+ years of Hitachi GMS SCADA experience with large systems & different connection setup with field devices3+ years of Python programming experience3+ years of Unix/Linux working experience3+ years of Working experience with agile technologies & Jira toolPERL programming experience is a plus
