Clinical Research Nurse

Job Title: Clinical Research NurseJob DescriptionAs a Clinical Research Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and implementing inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular clinical research studies. Your efforts will directly impact the future of medicine, patients, and their families. This position involves coordinating all procedures, tests, and follow-up visits according to protocol for enrolled research subjects, collecting study data, complying with regulatory requirements, and monitoring and reporting adverse events.Responsibilities+ Coordinate and implement inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular clinical research studies.+ Coordinate all procedures, tests, and follow-up visits according to the protocol for enrolled research subjects.+ Collect study data and comply with regulatory requirements.+ Monitor and report adverse events for study subjects.+ Provide education to research subjects and staff regarding the investigational study.+ Promote patient safety for all research-related activities.+ Collaborate with physician investigators and a multi-disciplinary team.+ Utilize strong computer-based skills for reporting purposes.Essential Skills+ Five years of nursing experience in cardiology and/or related area.+ Clinical Trials/Clinical Research experience preferred.+ Excellent organizational skills.+ Experience with Microsoft Office.+ Experience with electronic medical records programs preferred.+ Current Pennsylvania RN license.Additional Skills & Qualifications+ Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing required.+ BSN preferred.+ Hospital credentialing as required.+ Successful completion of CITI Program & CPR certification.+ IATA & ACRP research certification encouraged.Work EnvironmentThis role requires working 5 days on site at Wynnewood, with occasional travel to Bryn Mawr as needed. The schedule will be communicated weeks in advance.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wynnewood, PA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $42.00 - $45.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
