With personalized experiences, a best-in-class feature set, and continuous innovation, we future-proof users through emerging technologies and ecosystem advancements.Key Areas of ResponsibilityDevelop testing plans, frameworks, test cases, and test scriptsExecute unit, automated, and manual tests and code reviewsDocument and track defects with clear reporting on severity and resolution statusProduct Strategy, Vision, and PlanningParticipate in agile planning events by offering quality-focused insights during PI planning, sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectivesWork with Product Owners, Engineers, and Designers to define quality objectives, identify risks, and promote early testing practicesHelp define acceptance criteria and develop comprehensive test strategies including scope, environments, metrics, and reportingProduct Design and DevelopmentCollaborate with Engineers to ensure applications are testable and include effective logging, monitoring, and observabilityCreate and execute test cases for smoke, integration, regression, and UAT testingConduct manual and automated tests to validate functionality and identify edge cases and error handling issuesLog, prioritize, and track bugs while working with Engineers on debugging and resolutionDevelop and maintain automated tests as part of CI/CD pipelines with DevOps supportApply best practices, engineering tools, and emerging technologies to enhance quality and deliveryContribute to process improvement and team testing workflowsPerformance Measurement and OptimizationMonitor quality metrics such as defect and change failure rates to identify improvement opportunities in testing and delivery processesQualifications6+ years of experience in QA using manual and automated testing for APIs and systemsExpertise in smoke, integration, regression, and UAT testing, and test automation tools such as Java, JavaScript, Postman, Newman, Cucumber, JMeter, SeleniumSkilled in building test strategies for UI, APIs, and service layers in highly transactional systemsExperience with Agile methodologies and troubleshooting complex issues quickly and effectivelyProficiency in BDD, ATDD, TDD, and related practicesStrong understanding of test frameworks, test planning, and execution for both manual and automated testingExcellent collaboration and communication skills for working with cross-functional teamsStrong analytical skills for reviewing technical specs, log files, and identifying high-risk areasExperience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including MS SQL Server and OracleFamiliarity with cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, and AWSExperience using SCM tools like Git and SVNDemonstrated leadership, high standards, and a results-driven mindset with a passion for innovationStatement to Third Party AgenciesTo ALL recruitment agencies: Candescent only accepts resumes from agencies on the preferred supplier list.
