We are seeking a talented and passionate Private Chef to help us along this transformational, holistic journey. The ideal candidate will have a love for cooking fresh, high-quality, and primarily vegetarian dishes. This is a perfect opportunity for a chef looking to showcase their culinary skills in a relaxed, home environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Shop for, prepare and cook fresh, tasteful, and high-quality primarily vegetarian meals twice a week.
Plan weekly menus in collaboration with the homeowner to ensure variety and nutritional balance.
Source and purchase high-quality ingredients, ensuring freshness and sustainability.
Maintain an immaculate and organized kitchen, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Manage kitchen inventory and keep track of stock levels.
Occasionally prepare meals for small gatherings or events at the home.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a chef, preferably with a focus on vegetarian cuisine.
Culinary school diploma or equivalent professional experience.
Strong knowledge of vegetarian cooking techniques and recipes.
Exceptional cleanliness and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
Flexibility with schedule and availability to work on agreed-upon days.
A strong belief that food is medicine, with an understanding of the nutritional and healing properties of ingredients.
