We are currently seeking a Operations Manager - Retail who will report to the Retail Director US as part of our dynamic team in New York. Job Description Your opportunity The Retail Operations Manager plays a critical role in driving operational excellence across the retail network, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and scalability of store operations. This role partners closely with HQ and cross-functional teams to enable business performance, strengthen operational discipline, and elevate the overall client experience. How you will contribute Retail Operations & Network PerformanceLead the execution and continuous improvement of retail operating standards, ensuring consistency, compliance, and efficiency across all locationsConduct regular store visits to assess performance, identify gaps, and implement corrective actionsMaintain and evolve the Store Operations Manual in partnership with HQAct as escalation point for store operational issues, ensuring timely resolution and business continuityEstablish and reinforce best-in-class back-of-house standards and ways of working Client Experience, Training & Field PartnershipEnsure retail operations support and enhance the end-to-end client experienceOversee after-sales processes (repairs, alterations, shipments) to ensure seamless executionOwn onboarding strategy and deliver operational training to retail teams, driving consistent adoption of processes and standardsLead communication and rollout of new policies, tools, and processes across the networkPartner closely with Store Managers as a trusted advisor, providing hands-on support and identifying opportunities to improve performance and client experience Systems, Inventory & Operational ControlOwn POS ecosystem (XStore, SAP), ensuring system reliability and effective use of data to drive decision-makingAnalyze operational and sales data to monitor performance, ensure accuracy, and strengthen operational disciplineOversee inventory operations end-to-end, including cycle counts, physical inventories, and discrepancy resolutionManage inventory flow across retail, wholesale, and bespoke operations Logistics, Facilities & Vendor ManagementOversee logistics operations, ensuring efficient, cost-effective movement of goods and strong carrier performanceSupport seamless execution of client shipments and oversee store supplies and packaging distributionManage store facilities and maintenance, ensuring operational readiness and alignment with brand standardsLead store openings, renovations, and closures in partnership with HQManage vendor relationships, ensuring service quality, accountability, and cost effectiveness Cost, Compliance & GovernanceOwn operational cost control and partner with Finance to monitor budgets and drive efficiencyServe as liaison with Internal Audit and Loss Prevention, ensuring adherence to policies and mitigating riskEnsure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including permits, health & safety, and fire safety standardsProvide guidance and best practices to store teams on compliance and operational controls Requirements & Qualifications5+ years of experience in retail operations within a luxury or multi-unit environment.Strong understanding of POS systems (XStore, SAP) and retail operational processes.Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and execute projects end-to-end.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.Effective communicator with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.Experience managing vendors and driving operational efficiency.Demonstrates a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to operational excellence and client experience Additional RequirementsAbility to travel up to 30% support retail operations and store network needs.Flexibility to support key retail periods and inventory cycles.
