Human Resources Business Partner
EA Talent Solutions has been engaged by a Top 50 CPA firm seeking a versatile People Partner to support their Mid-Atlantic offices and contribute to national People & Culture initiatives. This role combines strategic partnership with hands-on HR support across employee relations, performance management, compliance, onboarding, and core HR operations.
The position requires three days per week in the office, along with approximately 25% travel to additional locations across New York, New Jersey, and Eastern Pennsylvania.
Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
Support onboarding, new-hire experience, and early-stage integration
Partner with leadership on hiring needs
Assist with campus events as needed
Employee Relations & Performance
Advise employees and managers on HR matters
Support conflict resolution and positive workplace culture
Assist with performance reviews and improvement plans
Compliance & Policy
Ensure compliance with employment laws
Support investigations and separations with discretion
HR Operations & Culture
Maintain HRIS records and generate reports
Support engagement, inclusion, and training initiatives
Promote firm-wide events and programs
Strategic HR Partnership
Collaborate with HR teams across recruiting, rewards, L&D, and resource management
Provide data-driven insights and support change initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field
3+ years of HR generalist experience (professional services preferred)
Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
Workday experience preferred; strong Microsoft Office skills
PHR or SHRM-CP a plus
Strong communication, discretion, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
The salary range for this position is $70,000–$90,000 , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
