Junior Java DevelopersLocation: IL, SCHAUMBURG (Partially Remote)All phases of software engineering including requirements analysis, application design, and code development and testingDesigning reusable Java components, frameworks and librariesWorking closely with architecture group and driving solutionsTroubleshooting production support issues post-deployment and drive solutionsDemonstrating substantial depth of knowledge and experience Java development, Java/J2EE, SQLApplication Developer Proficient in MS Office, Visio, Java/J2EE, SQLLooking for junior engineers (6 months to 2 years) who are eager to learn on the jobTech stack – Java, Spring Boot, Unix, Shell Scripting, Oracle/Postgres backend, Public cloud platform (Azure), Jenkins CI/CD, Terraform and AnsibleAny experience on one or more technologies & an open attitude to learn will be a good fit on the teamWe follow Agile Scrum, 2 week sprints, teams are co-located, junior engineers will be working on scrum teams alongside other senior dev and QA engineersBachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience6 months to 2 years' experience of coding experience with JVM based languages (Java, Scala, Groovy, Kotlin)6 months to 2 years' experience with SQL and working on databases like Oracle, PostGres6 months to 2 years' experience creating and maintaining APIs using open source frameworks like Sprint Boot, PlayExperience or willingness to work on public cloud servicesExperience delivering software using an Agile/Scrum methodologyExperience in Healthcare
