Senior Technical Support Analyst

OVERVIEW:Bluesource, Inc is looking for a Senior Veritas Applications Analyst with expertise in Veritas Enterprise Vault, Veritas eDiscovery and Veritas Merge1 platforms to support a large customer in our managed services business. As a Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring that the customer’s Veritas systems are functioning optimally and securely, meeting compliance requirements, and providing efficient and effective service to IT staff and end-users.Main Responsibilities:·       Manage and maintain the customer’s Enterprise Vault, eDiscovery  and Merge1 systems including system upgrades, patching, backups, and maintenance·       Monitor customer’s system performance and resolve any issues that arise in a timely manner·       Develop and implement with Managed Customer Enterprise Vault archiving and retention policies based on business needs and regulatory requirements·       Communications skills to work with all levels of large enterprise in support of their needs·       Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues related to managed Veritas applications ·       Collaborate with other IT team members (internal and external) to ensure the seamless integration of Enterprise Vault with other systems·       Document system configurations and procedures, and maintain up-to-date system documentation·       Provide training and support to end-users and other IT team members·       Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and trends in Enterprise Vault technology and provide recommendations for system improvements·       Configure and administer user accounts, policies, and permissions in Enterprise Vault·       Participate on the off hours rotational support schedule Technical Knowledge / ExperienceRequirements:·       5+ years of experience managing and supporting Veritas Enterprise Vault, eDiscovery and Merge1 systems·       Expertise in administering and configuring Enterprise Vault, including managing policies, archiving, and retention
