We are seeking a technician to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position should have some hands-on or low voltage experience. We are willing to train individuals who have a strong desire to learn an industry that is growing and nearly recession proof. The candidate will learn to isntall, troubleshoot, repair, and integrate electronics security equipment equipment. We're looking for a creative problem solver who enjoys rapidly changing work environments, as the successful candidate will be required to work both independently and with a team toward shared goals.
Responsibilities:
Perform installations, inspections, and service on a variety of low voltage projects such as, intrusion/security systems, fire alarm, CCTV, access control, A/V, structured cabling etc.
Seek additional sales and service opportunities within existing customer locations and advise the customer of compliance needs.
Develop long term relationships with customers and maintain customer retention.
Serves as the face of SAS to customers while onsite by providing top-notch service and product training after the physical installation.
Handles work orders by calling and scheduling installation and service calls, organizing required parts, ensuring those parts are available, and finishing the work.
Perform project administration such as closing out work orders, creating new work orders, communicating with your supervisor regarding parts orders and project status.
Necessities:
Low voltage experience a plus, but at the least the candidate should have hands on experience and know how to use basic tools.
High school diploma or equivalent
Mechanical ability and basic hand tool knowledge
Work efficiently with minimal supervision
Basic computer skills (MS Office, navigating work orders, etc.)
Good communication skills to interface with customers
Ability to call and schedule appointments, follow instructions, and understand project requirements
Have or ability to obtain required license in related trade
Ability to lift 75 lbs.+, safely use of ladders, work overhead and work in tight spaces
Valid driver’s license and proof of minimum liability insurance
Ability to pass background checks, drug tests, and required screenings

Pay: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour
