Senior Mainframe Developer
Location: Remote – United States.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain Mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, IMS DB/DC, DB2, MQ and VSAM.Implement Netron Frame technology solutions.Integrate enterprise‑level ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Service Manager, etc.) and manage their operational workflows.Work on waterfall and Agile methodology projects, managing Incidents, Service Requests and Change Requests concurrently.Provide technical troubleshooting and resolution for complex application and integration issues.Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Mainframe applications and database queries.Develop technical documentation (Knowledge Base articles, SOPs) for business and support teams.Understand functional and technical requirements and provide implementation or change options aligned with business needs.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Extensive experience in mainframe application development, support, and maintenance.Proficiency in mainframe technologies such as COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, IMS DC/DB, MQ, VSAM, and Netron Frame Technology.Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.Experience with version control systems and software development tools.Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.BenefitsUnlimited Paid Days OffThree health plan options401k with company matchDental, vision, short‑term and long‑term disability, life and AD&D coverage, and flexible spending accountsFamily Forming Benefit including fertility coverage and adoption/surrogacy reimbursementPaid child‑bearing and paternal leaveEducation reimbursement, student loan assistance, or 529 college fundingSabbatical leaveWellness programFlexible work scheduleEstimated annual salary: $102,000 to $148,000, plus eligible annual bonus plan and equity grant opportunities.Ensono is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
