*Title: Assembler – 2nd Shift* *Location: Tempe AZ 85281 * *Duration: 12+ Months Contract* *Pay Range: $20/hr - $23/hr on W2 with no benefits* *2nd shift is 2:30PM-1:00AM M-Th; On Friday 2:30PM – 12:00AM* *Active J STD Certification* *Position Summary*: Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations which may include skilled hand work or utilizing automated production equipment. Comprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications, terms and documents. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications. Good hand/eye coordination – manual dexterity is required as will be working with glass product Close attention to detail and quality Ability to perform basic functions on a PC/Microsoft office Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience Experience handing small products/microchips (part is no larger than a quarter in diameter) 2nd shift – clean room, full bunny suit Manual load and unload Use of low-powered microscope/minimal Maintaining and running the machines (filling chemicals etc.) *Education & Experience* Requires developing job knowledge/skills. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
