You’ll work alongside dedicated and collaborative teammates.You'll play a critical role in ensuring the safety, availability, and reliability of the Power Supply and Distribution (PS&D) System, directly contributing to the smooth operation of a 7-day rail system. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, safety, and operations departments), troubleshoot and repair high-voltage electrical systems, and much more.We’ll look to you for:Contributing to the safety, availability, and reliability of the Power Supply and Distribution (PS&D) system, including power substation equipment, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), cabling, OCS, “Blue Light Stations” (BLS), and Tunnel LightingAccessing vehicles, tracks, spares, materials, tools, equipment, training, manuals, and procedures for PS&D maintenanceRecommending and implementing techniques and procedures to ensure maintenance is conducted safely, reliably, and efficientlyDiagnosing and rectifying failures and emergency incidents within established guidelinesSupporting a 7-day rail operation by working rotating shifts in a continuous seven-day cycle, performing all technical work related to TPS maintenanceAdhering to Custodial, Preventative, and Rehabilitation Maintenance schedulesInspecting, testing, and repairing internal distribution cables and electrical substation equipmentPerforming inspections, maintenance, and repairs on traction power voltage, monitoring systems, charging systems, circuit breakers, and other TPS componentsTroubleshooting, analyzing, and isolating malfunctions, as well as inspecting, testing, modifying, and maintaining traction power voltage, monitoring systems, charging systems, circuit breakers, and other TPS componentsPerforming complex repair troubleshooting while safely using and maintaining hand and power tools and test equipment related to work.All About YouWe value passion and attitude over experience.
