If you're looking to grow your career within an extremely reputable, stable Fortune 100 company - let's talk!Position OverviewThis role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the quality, reliability, and performance of gas engine software through a combination of hands-on testing, automation development, and validation activities. The Core Gas Engine Software Test team is seeking a dedicated resource to focus on test automation, building packages that will be heavily used for production file delivery in place of the manual testing currently relied on. The successful candidate will help maintain and enhance automation infrastructure while supporting software release validation for current and future gas engine programs.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute engine software validation and test activitiesAnalyze test results, investigate defects, and conduct root cause analysisDevelop and maintain test automation, including driver file updates, script development, and debuggingCollaborate daily with software developers, controls engineers, test engineers, and validation engineersTeam Structure & Work EnvironmentReports to: Engineering Team Lead / Project Team LeadWork is performed in a soft lab environment, combining computer-based automation development with hands-on interaction with test systems and engine controlsRequirementsEducation & ExperienceBachelor or Master’s of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering required0-3 years of relevant experience required.Top SkillsEngine testing, validation, and troubleshootingData analysis and root cause investigationSoftware/test automation development (Python, C#, or similar)Additional Technical SkillsRequired:Understanding of embedded systems and electronic control modules (ECMs)Knowledge of software verification and validation processesAbility to analyze test results and identify root causesFamiliarity with CAN/J1939 communication and diagnostic toolsExperience working with test equipment, data acquisition systems, or HIL/SIL environmentsUnderstanding of requirements-based testing and defect trackingDesired:Engine controls or engine systems experienceExperience with dSPACE, Vector CANoe/CANalyzer, ET, or similar toolsExperience developing automated regression test suitesSoft SkillsRequired:Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to learn new systems and tools quicklyEffective verbal and written communication skillsAttention to detail and commitment to qualityStrong teamwork and collaboration skillsDesired:Experience presenting technical findings to stakeholdersAbility to influence decisions through data-driven recommendationsBenefits401(k)Dental insuranceVision InsuranceDisability insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offPaid HolidaysPlease follow the link to our website for a list of job openings in Engineering, IT, Project Management, and more! https://www.dsnworldwide.comSalary expectations: 75,000-80,000 per annual
