The right candidate will have the opportunity to transition into a full‑time position within the next year as our client base continues to expand. The Bookkeeper will handle essential accounting tasks, including preparing and maintaining financial records, managing daily bookkeeping activities, and recording journal entries. Day-to-day responsibilities include reconciling accounts, working with accounting software to ensure accuracy, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements. The Bookkeeper will work closely with clients and team members to support sound financial management.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate bookkeeping for multiple clientsPerform general administrative tasks as neededProcess payroll for small business clientsCommunicate with clients professionally and promptlyAssist with reconciliations, categorization, and month‑end tasksSupport the CPA with various operational and accounting needsAdditional responsibilities as the firm growsQualificationsProficiency in Bookkeeping and working knowledge of Financial StatementsExperience with Accounting Software and ability to manage Journal Entries efficientlyStrong knowledge and understanding of basic Finance principlesStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsProficient communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a teamPrior experience in bookkeeping and accounting, preferably in a professional environmentBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
