We are looking for outgoing, service-oriented individuals to serve our boutique hotel guests at the Hearthside Vine & Tap, our new upscale hotel lounge featuring choice wines and Maine craft brews with a light appetizer menu (no full course meals). Exceptional working environment and competitive wage. The right candidate will be a cheerful person preferably with food & beverage service experience, neat, outgoing, and dependable and must be available late afternoons & evenings, starting at 4:30 PM until around 11 PM. The responsibilities of the position include: preparing menu items in our kitchen, greeting guests with a smile, taking appetizer and beverage orders, talking about different craft beers and wine varieties, promptly responding to the needs of guests, maintaining sanitation and safety standards, cleaning dishes and resetting kitchen and service areas, as well as assisting with general hotel guest service and ensuring public spaces are clean and presentable. This can be a full- or part-time opportunity, or may be combined with other positions available at the hotel.
