A CPA is preferred. CPA Firm experience is a plus.Typical senior accountant — duties:Reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances. Preparing financial statements. Supporting month-end and year-end close. Preparing financial statements, journal entries and account reconciliations. Assessing internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas. Assisting with budget preparation and preparing the annual budget variance analysesMaintaining and reconciling fixed assets schedules. Maintaining and reconciling Debt Schedules. Supervising accounting staff.
