Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.What You'll Be DoingLead and supervise 2nd shift operations to ensure safe, efficient production of a stone quarryMonitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance to minimize downtimeEnsure compliance with environmental, safety, and quality standardsTrain and support team members to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvementCommunicate effectively with day shift leadership to ensure operational continuityThis is a 2nd Shift Role: 3:30 PM - 1:30 AM Shift What Are We Looking ForBackground in aggregates or sand and gravelProven ability to lead and motivate teams in a production or industrial settingStrong understanding of plant operations, safety protocols, and equipment maintenanceEffective problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressureClear and professional communication across all levels of the organizationCommitment to safety, quality, and operational excellenceBilingual preferredEssential Experience and SkillsAggregate production experience and at least 3 years in a supervisory role within a related industryStrong leadership abilities with clear, concise, and respectful communication skillsAbility to maintain composure and professionally present information, responding effectively to questionsMotivation and adaptability to work in a dynamic environment with fluctuating shift schedules, extensive movement across the plant, and occasional lifting of heavy objects and working in confined spacesWork EnvironmentThis role operates in an outdoor industrial setting with exposure to varying weather conditions, heavy machinery, and loud noise. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
