*Job Overview*
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Solid Surface Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw materials into high-quality solid surface products used in countertops, vanity tops, and custom architectural features. Your expertise will ensure precise fabrication, adherence to safety standards, and exceptional craftsmanship that meets client specifications. *Responsibilities*
* Interpret and follow detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication specifications to produce accurate solid surface components.
* Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and machinery to cut, shape, and assemble composite materials with precision.
* Measure materials and finished products using tape measures, calipers, and other measurement tools to ensure quality control and dimensional accuracy.
* Handle materials safely within the warehouse or fabrication area, including loading, unloading, and proper storage of raw materials and finished products.
* Use shop math skills to calculate measurements, material quantities, and fabrication tolerances necessary for project completion.
* Follow strict safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment while handling equipment such as forklifts and pneumatic tools.
* Collaborate with team members to interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings for complex fabrication tasks involving woodworking, millwork, or composite materials.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience in manufacturing or construction environments with a focus on fabrication or woodworking.
* Strong mechanical knowledge including interpretation of technical drawings and blueprint reading skills.
* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and measuring devices such as tape measures for precise measurements.
* Familiarity with shop math concepts necessary for accurate measurements and material calculations.
* Experience working with composite materials or solid surface products is highly desirable.
* Ability to operate forklifts safely (certification preferred) and handle materials efficiently within a warehouse setting.
* Knowledge of safety protocols related to machinery operation, materials handling, and workplace safety standards.
* Basic understanding of machining processes and construction techniques related to millwork or cabinetry is a plus.

Pay: $25.83 - $45.00 per hour
