Psychiatrist - New Crisis Program - Start on or about 8/3/26Job Category: Behavioral HealthHiring Range: $267,051.20 to $373,880.00Incentives: Relocation Package, Sign on Bonus, and Retention BonusWe are actively seeking a Psychiatrist to become part of a growing continuum of behavioral health care services in the new crisis residential program, a voluntary and involuntary program for psychiatric stabilization. Responsibilities include multidisciplinary team-based care, medical and psychiatric evaluation and management, supporting and following legal requirements, de-escalation and crisis resolution, engagement in milieu, care coordination, and understanding of social determinants of health.All employees in this position will be expected to successfully complete Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Nonviolent Crisis Intervention with Advanced Physical Skills training upon hire.Minimum QualificationsD. or D.O. degree required.Licensed as a Physician in the State of Alaska.Current American Board certification specialty appropriate for the service.Meets all requirements in order to obtain associate medical staff membership and required privileges of service.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. ACLS, NRP, ATLS, ALSO and PALS as required for specialty and any certification relating to the scope of practice as required.Preferred QualificationsDoctorate or better.Basic Life Support BLS.Native PreferenceUnder P.L. 93-638, as amended, the company pursues a policy of Native preference in hiring, contracting and training.
