Senior Technical Lead Python, Microservices, CloudLocation: New York, NY (3 days onsite)Experience: 7-12 YearsPrimary Skills: Python, Microservices, Cloud ComputingCertifications: Relevant certifications in Python programming, cloud platforms, or microservices architecture are a plus.Job DescriptionThe Senior Technical Lead will lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable Python-based backend solutions using cloud platforms and microservices architecture. The role involves hands-on development, technical leadership, architecture design, code quality, and mentoring development teams.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design, development, testing, and deployment of Python applications.Develop and maintain backend systems using Python and Django.Design and implement scalable, secure RESTful APIs and microservices.Integrate cloud services, particularly Azure, for application deployment and management.Work with Databricks and backend data processing solutions where required.Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.Design technical solutions and make architecture decisions aligned with business and technical requirements.Optimize database performance and manage SQL and NoSQL data storage.Use Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and application orchestration.Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and maintain quality assurance processes.Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide guidance to the development team.Mentor junior developers and support continuous improvement of development practices.Work within Agile development methodologies and support successful project delivery.Ensure applications meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.Required SkillsStrong expertise in Python and Django.Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and web services.Strong experience with Microservices architecture and implementation.Hands-on experience with Cloud Computing and cloud platforms.Experience with Azure Cloud services.Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.Experience with Git and Agile methodologies.Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills.Ability to lead development teams and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.Good to HaveAzure Databricks.Delta Lake and Delta Tables.PySpark.Preferred Experience10+ years of backend development experience.5+ years of experience with Django.Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.Expected Outcome: Deliver high-quality, secure, scalable backend applications and cloud-deployed microservices while providing strong technical leadership, architectural direction, and development team mentorship.
