The Culture Engagement Strategist is to be the voice, vibe, and vision of our culture both inside and outside our walls. In this role, you'll act as a liaison between Human Resources, ABLife and Talent Acquisition, using storytelling, social media, content creation, and internal communications to spotlight our people, amplify our values, and attract like-minded talent. This is NOT a generic employer engagement role; you must have a deep understanding of the mortgage industry, our audience, and the importance of cultural alignment in high-performance teams. Applicants must reside in one of our operating markets: Virginia or North Carolina and must be able to travel within the markets. Mortgage experience is required.What you'll be doingInternal Engagement & Culture HypePartnering with Human Resources, ABLife and Talent to bring our culture to life through creative internal campaigns, events, communications, and engagement opportunities.Creating and managing content that resonates with team members, celebrating wins, sharing stories, and reinforcing values.Working with ABLife to launch initiatives that increase employee connection, recognition, and retention across teams and locations.Working with ABLife to manage internal culture channels and keeping them vibrant and active.Talent Attraction & Employer BrandOwning our employer brand presence on platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and Glassdoor.Collaborating with the Talent Acquisition team to design and execute campaigns that attract top-tier talent in the mortgage industry.Creating video, photo, and written content that tells authentic stories about our people, career paths, community involvement, and day-to-day vibe.Monitoring engagement metrics and adjusting strategies for greater reach and impactStrategic Liaison Between Human Resources & TalentPartnering with Talent to ensure our external brand matches the internal experience.Keeping a pulse on employee feedback and using insights to drive meaningful cultural initiatives.What you'll bring5 years of experience in employer branding, internal communications, culture marketing, or a related field is requiredDeep knowledge of the mortgage industry you understand the terminology, the roles, and what top talent in this space is looking for is requiredAbility to travel to various locations and events is requiredStrong social media and content creation skills (especially with platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and LinkedIn) is requiredProven ability to connect with audiences through modern storytelling techniquesExcellent communication skills visual, verbal, and writtenStrategic mindset with the ability to execute tactically and creativelyExperience with video editing, Canva, Adobe Suite, or other creative toolsBackground in talent acquisition and/or Human Resources communicationsExperience running internal engagement programs or company-wide eventsPerksAtlantic Bay offers a dynamic benefits package that includes a competitive base salary, eligibility for monthly bonuses, health insurance, 401(k), PTO, paid volunteer time and your birthday off with pay!
