Pay: base flexible based on experience (140K-180K), before benefits and a very lucrative bonus structure.Location: Chandler, AZIf this sounds of interest, please send your resume to kris.riegle@cybercoders.com!Position OverviewWe are seeking a results-driven Project Controls Manager to lead project controls for large industrial construction projects. The role is responsible for establishing and maintaining project cost, schedule, and risk control processes, delivering timely and accurate forecasts and performance reporting, and supporting project leadership to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. The ideal candidate has strong experience in project controls, construction execution, and industrial environments, and is comfortable working closely with project managers, engineers, commercial teams, and site personnel.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement and maintain robust project controls systems and processes for cost, schedule and risk management across industrial construction projects.Create and maintain baseline and resource-loaded schedules using CPM techniques; update schedules regularly, analyze variances, and recommend recovery or mitigation plans.Manage cost control activities including budgeting, cost forecasting, variance analysis, cost-to-complete and cash-flow management.Lead earned value management (EVM) processes: calculate and report EV metrics (BCWS, BCWP, ACWP, CPI, SPI), and advise on corrective actions when required.Monitor and manage change control and change order processes; quantify impact of scope changes to schedule and budget and support commercial negotiations.Prepare and deliver regular, concise performance reporting and KPI dashboards to project leadership and stakeholders.Identify, assess and track project risks and opportunities; support development of mitigation strategies and contingency planning.Coordinate with procurement, contracts and commercial teams to ensure alignment between contractual commitments, cost forecasts and schedule milestones.Coach, mentor and develop project controls team members; define roles, responsibilities and training plans to build capability.Drive continuous improvement of tools, templates and workflows; implement best practices and ensure compliance with corporate and client reporting standards.QualificationsBachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.7+ years of progressive project controls experience on industrial construction projects, including hands-on work with schedules, cost control and risk management.Proven expertise in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project, advanced MS Excel skills; experience with project accounting or ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is an advantage.Strong knowledge of earned value management (EVM) and other performance measurement techniques.Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex schedule and cost data into clear recommendations.Proven leadership and interpersonal skills with experience managing and developing project controls staff and working across multidisciplinary teams.Strong communication and presentation skills for internal and client-facing reporting.Relevant certifications such as AACE CCP/PSP, PMI-SP, or PMP are desirable.Willingness to travel to project sites as required and work in industrial construction environments.BenefitsLucrative BonusCompany VehicleGas CardGreat Medical / Dental Insurance- For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
