Job Description Position SummaryAs a Busser at The Little Room, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our restaurant operates smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for clearing and resetting tables, as well as assisting in maintaining a clean and organized dining area.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:Follow safe food service protocols in accordance with Health Department standardsClearing tables of dishes, glassware, and utensilsCleaning and sanitizing tables and chairsRestocking restrooms with suppliesRefilling water glassesAssisting servers with running food and drinks to tablesCommunicating effectively with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless serviceMinimum QualificationsCA Food Handler certification requiredPhysical stamina to lift and carry heavy items (dishes, tubs, etc.)Previous restaurant experience strongly preferredHigh energy and stamina are requiredAbility to stay calm and work efficiently under pressureAbility to prioritize job duties and manage time effectivelyStrong English language skills preferred, bilingual a plusWillingness to work evenings and weekends as requiredExcellent customer service to treat patrons like familyAbility to read menus, safety documents, and other work-related documentsThe Little Room is dedicated to fostering a fair and inclusive work environment for all employees and applicants.
