Job Title: Provisioning Engineer – Telecom Service Activation
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Provisioning Engineer responsible for end-to-end service activation and provisioning activities within the telecommunications environment. The role focuses on configuring, activating, and supporting telecom services while ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform service provisioning and activation for voice, data, and internet services.
Configure telecom network elements, circuits, and customer profiles.
Validate orders and ensure accurate service implementation as per SLAs.
Coordinate with network, field, and customer support teams for seamless activation.
Troubleshoot provisioning and activation issues.
Maintain provisioning records, documentation, and system updates.
Monitor queues and ensure timely completion of service requests.
Adhere to telecom compliance, quality, and security standards.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, IT, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in telecom provisioning/service activation.
Hands-on experience with OSS/BSS systems and ticketing tools.
Knowledge of telecom technologies such as MPLS, IP, VoIP, Fiber, and LTE/5G is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously.
Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
Preferred:
Experience with automation or scripting tools.
Understanding of telecom order management workflows and SLA management.
