Obstetrics and Gynecology - OB Hospitalist - Physician

Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN Nocturnist to join our growing team at Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital. This position is primarily based at the Willowbrook campus and focuses on overnight, in-house coverage supporting Labor & Delivery and Obstetrics services.As a full-time employee of Houston Methodist Physician Organization (HMPO), you will enjoy a competitive salary, shift-based compensation, and a comprehensive benefits package within a respected academic health system.QualificationsBoard-Certified or Board-Eligible in Obstetrics and GynecologyStrong clinical judgment with the ability to manage high-acuity obstetric patients independentlyExcellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindsetPrior experience as a nocturnist or hospital-based OB/GYN preferredInterest in resident education and supervision preferred (but not required)ResponsibilitiesProvide overnight, in-house OB/GYN coverage for Labor & Delivery, obstetric triage, and emergency gynecologic careManage laboring patients, obstetric emergencies, and unassigned patients during night shiftsPerform vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections as clinically indicatedCollaborate closely with nursing staff, anesthesia, neonatology, and daytime OB/GYN teams to ensure continuity of careSupervise and support OB/GYN residents during overnight shifts, as applicableParticipate in quality and safety initiatives related to obstetric careNight shifts are structured and scheduled to support work-life balance; weekend and holiday coverage included per nocturnist scheduleAbout Houston Methodist Willowbrook HospitalHouston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital is a not-for-profit, faith-based, 358-bed hospital located in Northwest Houston.
