Our projects range nationwide from warehouses, distribution, and food processing.This position is directly responsible for on-site coordination in all phases including coordination of onsite trades, vendors, suppliers, and crews. The superintendent is to ensure that specifications are being strictly followed and work is proceeding safely, on schedule, and within budget. You will work among the most experienced team in the industry and contribute to the team's success.Position DescriptionESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Ensure Fricks Safety Program is driven. Hold Weekly Toolbox Safety MeetingsOversee and contribute to daily job site performance and execution for on time and efficient project delivery/completion.Prepare and attend pre-job meetings with Project Manager and support team at FRICKS headquarters.Reviews, evaluates, schedules, and plans logistics with Fricks Project Manager.Recruit and interview potential candidates for successful completion of project.Collaborate with Concrete Lead man and others to anticipate project requirements and expectations.Build a job site team environment through communication, managing and collaborating with jobsite personnel and specialty contractors/vendors.Reports and documents project status with daily reports and updates through company reporting system.Forecast and schedule timely delivery of concrete pours and other materials.Routine Onsite Quality Control inspection.Performs other duties as outlined and/or described in the Fricks Field Procedure Manual. Position RequirementsREQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Ability to read and understand project drawingsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHighly autonomous, self-directed, organized and detail-orientedAble to interface and communicate with all levels of employees and managementMust have clean driving record and current valid driver license EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Minimum of 5 years in concrete construction managementSupervising commercial concrete and projectsBilingual in Spanish is requiredOSHA 30 Hour Certification in the Construction IndustryCPR and First Aid CertificationsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Prolonged standingAble to lift 50 pounds at a timeMust be able to travel out of state for prolonged periods at a timeOvertimeAble to work in a construction environment, indoor/outdoor, and occasional inclement weather conditionsEqual Opportunity Employer
