Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a smooth flow of the dining experience Take accurate orders using Toast POS system, and process sales transactions efficiently Provide detailed menu descriptions, including cocktail knowledge, to enhance guest selections and upsell specials or premium items Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards and ensuring guest satisfaction Handle cash, credit card transactions, and process payments accurately using Toast POS system Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Engage with guests to foster positive relationships, address concerns promptly, and promote guest loyalty through excellent customer service Skills Extensive experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order entry and sales processing Strong culinary knowledge combined with beverage expertise including cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer service is preferred Proven ability to upsell menu items effectively to maximize sales opportunities Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and strong communication abilities Experience in high-volume restaurants preferred Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation and cash handling Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff, hosts/hostesses, and fellow servers to ensure seamless service delivery Join us in creating memorable dining experiences where energy meets excellence!
