Detail-oriented and results-driven Buyer with 2+ years of experience in manufacturing procurement, specializing in sourcing raw materials, components, and production supplies to support efficient operations. Demonstrated ability to negotiate competitive pricing, manage supplier relationships, and ensure on-time delivery to meet production demands. Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems, inventory control, and demand forecasting to optimize stock levels and reduce costs. Proven team player who collaborates effectively with production, engineering, and finance teams to improve supply chain performance, reduce lead times, and maintain quality and compliance standards.In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:Ensure material availability to support production schedules and prevent disruptionsMonitor and resolve shortages, managing daily priority and exception reportsCreate, update, and expedite purchase orders while maintaining supplier communicationManage supplier performance, including delivery issues, discrepancies, and matching holdsMaintain inventory levels and planning parameters (ABC codes, safety stock, lead times) using data analysisSupport quality, compliance, and import/export requirements across procurement activitiesCollaborate cross-functionally on forecasts, NPD projects, reporting, and process improvementsWho You Are:Action oriented. Proactively manage suppliers by creating or modifying POs to satisfy demand and general correspondence, streamline procurement, and resolve issues quickly. Manage / resolve Buyer Delivery performance and invoice matching holds reports.Plans and aligns. Support the Factory by ensuring material is available in support of production schedules for complex items. Manage inventory to Supply Chain goals using various analytics / reporting tools.Manages ambiguity. Make informed decisions despite uncertainty in supply, demand, and market conditions. Adapt to changing priorities, resolve disruptions, and find solutions with limited data.Collaborates. Work closely with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders to ensure smooth procurement and operations. Support indirect material purchases for services and non-inventory items.Communicates effectively. Clearly convey expectations to suppliers, ensuring accurate orders, pricing, and delivery timelines. The salary range for this role is $58,300-$83,300 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.This position will be open for a minimum of 7 days from the day of posting.
