We are currently searching for an Experienced Mobile Service Tech who has a high level of integrity, is hardworking and motivated to join our team.Position SummaryPosition: Experienced Mobile Service TechClassification : Full TimeReports To: Service DirectorWork Location: In person; Huntsville, TXEssential Duties include but are not limited to:Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accuratelyInspect vehicle computers and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgradeConduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevitySchedule future maintenance sessions and advise motorists on good vehicle useRepair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance jobKeep logs on work and issuesMaintain equipment and tools in good conditionTravel to customer homes, offices, and designated locations to perform mobile repairs using a company-provided van and tools.Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked mobile service van, ensuring readiness for all scheduled and unscheduled jobs.Assess job scope on-site and determine whether work should be completed on location or sublet to a partner facility.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Proven experience as auto mechanicGM Experience RequiredAt least 2+ years' experience in Automotive RepairValid ASE Certification is requiredExcellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehiclesWorking knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methodsAbility to handle various tools (e.g. pliers) and heavy equipment (e.g. lift)Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.Excellent physical conditionHigh school diploma is preferred; Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is preferredOther assigned tasksRelevant Work Experience & Other Requirements:Must meet dealerships requirements for employment which include background check and drug screeningMust have a valid driver's license and be insurable based on driving record.Must be a minimum of eighteen years of ageMust be punctual and reliable.Physical Requirements:Must be able to sit, stand, and/ or walk for extended periods of timeCompensation & Benefits:Competitive Commission Based Pay PlanPaid Time Off401K retirement plan & annual employer matchHealth, Vision, and Dental benefitsHealth Savings AccountCompany Paid Life InsuranceDisability, Voluntary Life, & Supplemental plan optionsDiscounts, perks, and incentivesPaid TrainingOpportunity for Growth & DevelopmentSafe & Team Oriented Work EnvironmentBayway Auto Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
