We operate exclusively in the Dallas–Fort Worth area - and we know how to make it shine!The OpportunityWe are growing and seeking an Event Operations Manager / Program Manager who is ready to step into a high-impact, client-facing role within a respected and fast-moving team. This position is primarily operations-focused, with collaborative involvement in the sales process. You will take ownership of programs, leading planning, vendor coordination, logistics management, budgeting, and onsite execution. You’ll also support proposals and creative conversations when needed, giving you exposure to the full client lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone who:• Loves the precision of logistics• Thrives in fast-paced environments• Enjoys client interaction• Takes pride in running well-executed programs• Wants to grow within an established and highly regarded DMCWhat You’ll DoProgram Operations• Lead operational planning for assigned corporate, incentive, and association programs.• Manage budgets and track financial performance to meet profitability goals.• Coordinate vendors including décor, entertainment, transportation, production, F&B, venues, and specialty services.• Develop timelines, staffing plans, run-of-show documents, and manifests.• Conduct site inspections and planning visits as needed.• Serve as a key client contact during planning and onsite execution.• Be present onsite for programs and confidently lead field teams. Transportation & Logistics• Assist in coordinating group transportation and routing logistics (training provided as needed).• Support manifest management and vendor communication for arrivals, departures, and event movements.• Contribute to contingency planning to ensure smooth operations. Sales Support & Collaboration• Assist with proposal research and vendor pricing.• Participate in client calls, presentations, and site visits as needed.• Contribute ideas during brainstorming and creative strategy meetings.• Help ensure seamless transition from proposal to execution.What Makes You a Strong Fit• 5+ years of event planning experience (DMC, hospitality, or agency experience a plus).• Strong organizational and time management skills.• Confident in managing multiple programs at various stages.• Comfortable building budgets and working in Excel.• Detail-oriented with solid financial awareness.• Clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills.• Solutions-driven mindset and calm under pressure.• Team-oriented and collaborative.Experience with project management systems or event software (Viper, Trello, Social Tables, Canva, CRM platforms) is a plus - but adaptability and willingness to learn matter most.Compensation & Benefits· Competitive salary range: $65,000 – $80,000, based on experience.· Performance-based bonus potential tied to program profitability and success.· Health insurance options including medical, dental, and vision.· Paid time off, paid holidays, and sick leave.· Professional development support including industry memberships and certificationopportunities (DMCP encouraged).· 401(k) with employer match.· Employer-paid Basic Life Insurance ($50,000) and AD&D Insurance ($50,000)· Voluntary life insurance (employee add-on).· Paid industry memberships.· Long-term career growth within an established and respected DMC.Our CultureAt Ultimate Ventures, we work hard, move fast, and support each other fully.
