Job DescriptionJob Title: Deposition AttorneyLocation: Beverly Hills, CAPosition Type: Full TimePosition OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Deposition Attorney with extensive experience taking and defending expert depositions. This role is ideal for a litigation attorney who prefers to focus exclusively on depositions rather than full case management or trial work.The ideal candidate has a strong command of deposition strategy, expert witness examination, and case theory development, and can step into complex matters with minimal oversight.Key ResponsibilitiesTake and defend expert witness depositions (medical providers, retained experts, accident reconstructionists, economists, etc.)Prepare detailed, strategic deposition outlines tied to liability and damages themesAnalyze expert reports, medical records, and supporting documentationEffectively preserve objections and protect the recordIdentify weaknesses in opposing expert opinions and develop impeachment strategyProvide post-deposition analysis and recommendations to trial counselCollaborate closely with attorneys preparing cases for mediation, arbitration, and trialQualificationsActive California Bar license in good standing5+ years of civil litigation experienceStrong, demonstrable experience independently handling expert depositionsBackground in personal injury, insurance defense, product liability, or other civil litigation practice areasExcellent analytical, strategic, and courtroom communication skillsAbility to quickly digest complex medical and technical informationConfident presence with experts and opposing counselCompensationCompetitive compensation commensurate with experience.BenefitsMedical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife Insurance401(k) PlanPaid Time Off (PTO)Apply Now- Or forward your resume in confidence to Jaimi.Harper@gogpac.com.
