Software DeveloperLocation:Chantilly, VA/Herndon, VA Work Type:Onsite Remote Work:NoJob Description We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with strong experience in Java-based application development and modern microservices architectures. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying scalable, containerized applications in a cloud-enabled environment.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain RESTful services using Java and modern frameworks Build applications leveraging libraries such as Spring Boot, Mockito, Lombok, and OpenAPI (Swagger) Manage source code using Git and build automation tools such as Gradle Integrate and work with distributed systems and messaging technologies (e.g., Kafka, ActiveMQ, NiFi) Develop and maintain applications utilizing databases such as MongoDB Containerize applications and deploy to Kubernetes clusters using Helm Charts Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery Required Qualifications:Strong experience in Java developmentand microservices architecture Hands-on experience with RESTful API design and development Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems Preferred Qualifications:Experience working within Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments Exposure to event-driven architectures and distributed systems Clearance Requirement:Active TS/SCI with polygraph Compensation and Benefits Salary Range: $140,000 - $240,000 (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs.
