Job Title: Software Project Manager – Medical DevicesDuration: 12 Months ContractLocation: Arden Hills, MNRole OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Software Project Manager with strong background in medical device software environments. The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional software/product integration initiatives within a regulated environment, ensuring successful execution of enterprise-level programs. This role is focused on software/product integration leadership, not general PMO coordination.Key Experience Requirements (Must Have)Medical device industry project management experienceSoftware project/program management in regulated environmentsCross-functional integration leadership across engineering, QA, regulatory, and product teamsExperience driving enterprise or product integration initiativesStrong stakeholder management and executive-level communicationAgile methodologies within medical device software environmentsResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end software project execution in medical device programsManage scope, schedule, budget, and cross-functional delivery alignmentDrive integration of software systems across enterprise/product platformsCollaborate with engineering, quality, regulatory, and business stakeholdersProvide executive-level updates, reporting, and risk mitigation strategiesEnsure compliance with applicable medical device software standardsSupport Agile-based delivery models and continuous improvement initiativesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or Business5+ years of software, product development, or related experience5+ years of project management experience in the medical device industryProven experience leading cross-functional teamsStrong ability to manage project scope, schedule, and budgetExcellent communication, presentation, and organizational skillsStrong analytical skills to drive business recommendationsProficiency in MS Office tools (including MS Project)Experience using MS SharePointAbility to travel up to 20% as requiredPreferred QualificationsAgile project management experience5+ years managing software projects in medical devicesKnowledge of applicable software ISO and IEC standards
