CardiologistEast Meadow, NYSalary: $300K/yr with significant Faculty Practice incentive-based revenueNassau University Medical Center (NUMC), a 530-bed tertiary care teaching hospital and Level I trauma center, is seeking a Cardiologist to join our active Cardiology Department. Serve a diverse patient population and help improve community health through comprehensive cardiac care.Key Responsibilities:Provide evaluation, management, and treatment of patients with cardiovascular disease.Read, interpret, and report on all relevant testing modalities.Apply expertise in prevention, diagnosis, and management of a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, valvular and congenital heart disease, cardiomyopathies, and vascular disorders.Required Qualifications:Completion of a 3-year ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency and a 3-year ACGME-accredited Cardiology fellowship.Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiology.Licensure in New York or eligibility for licensure.Strong interpersonal, communication, and professional skills.Noninvasive cardiac imaging skills (echocardiography, stress testing, nuclear cardiology) recommended.We offer competitive salaries, medical malpractice insurance, medical/dental/life insurance, paid time off, sick time, paid holidays, New York State Pension Plan, and other excellent benefits.
