Forge Operator

Role: Forge Operator responsible for setting up, operating, and tending forging machines to produce parts according to customer specifications.Key DutiesEnsure parts meet specifications by reading blueprints and work orders.Start machines, monitor operations, and detect malfunctions.Remove dies, set up presses, and coordinate with team members on machine setups.Follow all safety, health, and quality policies, reporting any incidents.Perform related tasks as assigned, including manual handling of parts and tools.Qualifications & SkillsAt least 1 year of manufacturing/machining experience.High School Diploma or GED; associate's degree preferred.Ability to interpret instructions, measure accurately, and adapt to changes.Physical ability to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform manual tasks.Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.Work Environment: Manufacturing setting with moderate to high noise, variable temperatures, and high-precision, high-value components.
