Production Technician (Live Events - Audio, Lighting, Video)

EDGE Productions is a full-service production company providing lighting, sound, video, creative services, and event management for corporate, association, and special events. EDGE is looking to expand its team of professionals who are committed to providing a first-class experience for its clients.
The ideal candidate for Production Technician must have experience in live-event production, be able to multi-task, work well under pressure, and able to work nights and weekends. Travel is required. This is a full-time position and includes benefits. Pay is based on experience.
The ideal candidate will have all or most of the following qualities:
Experience in as least one area of audio, lighting or video
Experience in warehouse prepping, packing, and loading/unloading equipment
Can lead stagehand labor with clear directions
Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve in a time-sensitive production environment
Work cooperatively within a team and with other departments and can also teach EDGE standards to new techs coming into the department
Work well under hard deadlines; ability to plan workflow accordingly
Effective communication skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends with Travel
Availability to work overtime during peak seasons
Ability to lift-up to 50 pounds
Ability to spend up to 100% of work time standing or moving. Physical activities include frequent use of hand tools, bending, stooping, lifting, climbing stairs, carrying, walking and/or reaching regularly.
