Overview: This is a Regional Travel position/frequent overnights required. Expand Access. Travel with Purpose. Deliver Compassionate Hospice Care. Would you enjoy making a difference across multiple communities while stepping in where care is needed most? We’re looking for a Hospice RN – Regional Support to join our team. In this dynamic role, you’ll provide direct care to patients and support to families, while also serving as a floating clinician—temporarily assigned to different hospice branches based on census needs or staffing gaps. As a Hospice RN – Regional Support, You Will:• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care for hospice patients• Manage and implement individualized plans of care• Support and lead interdisciplinary team members (LPNs, CNAs, HHAs, etc.)• Assess and address patients’ physical, emotional, spiritual, and environmental needs• Accurately document all care provided and ensure compliance with hospice protocols• Educate families and caregivers on care instructions, medications, and safety• Participate in the on-call rotation and provide after-hours care as needed• Collaborate with physicians, referral sources, and the care team• Assist with referrals, regulatory documentation, and payer compliance• Travel to various Gentiva hospice locations as assigned to fill urgent needs Schedule & Travel: This role typically follows a Monday–Friday schedule, with occasional on-call responsibilities. Travel is required and may include:Regional travel required, including overnight stays within a multi-state area or up to a 100-mile radius, based on assignment needs.A company fleet car is provided for eligible employees.
