This is a hands-on leadership position inside a fast-moving, small-team 3PL freight brokerage where you will directly own performance, team accountability, and execution.You will work directly with the owner to help run and scale the business, with clear expectations tied to revenue, operational performance, and team results.This role is designed for someone who wants to grow into a General Manager position and take on increasing responsibility as the company scales.What You’ll DoOwn daily and weekly operational performance across the business (margin, shipments, activity, and execution)Lead and manage a small, high-output team across operations and support functionsDrive accountability through KPIs, performance tracking, and consistent follow-upImprove operational performance across execution, billing flow, and customer experienceAddress performance issues directly and lead difficult conversations when neededPartner with the owner on business strategy, reporting, and process improvementsHelp build a culture centered around execution, ownership, and resultsOperate effectively in a small-team environment where leaders are expected to be hands-on and involved in day-to-day execution when neededPerformance ExpectationsThis role is accountable for performance. You will be expected to own results — not just manage activity — including team output, execution, and contribution to company margin.This is a high-visibility role where performance matters and results are measured consistently.Work Style & ExpectationsThis is a leadership role in a fast-moving 3PL freight brokerage environment. While the majority of work occurs during standard business hours, this role requires a high level of ownership and responsiveness.There will be times when issues, escalations, or team needs require attention outside of normal hours.
