In this critical role, you will manage core infrastructure and data center operations supporting the Deputy Directorate, Joint Training (DDJT).If you are a clearance-holder looking to keep mission-critical defense training environments highly available, secure, and performing at peak capacity, we want to talk to you.Key ResponsibilitiesLinux Infrastructure: Maintain, monitor, and optimize core Linux systems (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) supporting the DevSecOps pipeline.Data Center & Operations: Manage core data center operations, ensuring high availability, system stability, and peak performance for DDJT mission systems.Pipeline Integration: Partner with DevSecOps engineers to support, secure, and continuously improve automated CI/CD and training pipeline infrastructure.Security & Compliance: Enforce system security controls, patch management, and baseline hardening across Linux environments.Troubleshooting: Act as a technical escalation point for complex infrastructure, network, and system level issues.Required QualificationsClearance: Active Secret Clearance (DoD) is required upon hire.Experience: 4+ years of hands-on Linux System Administration experience in enterprise or government environments.Onsite Commitment: Ability to work 100% onsite in Suffolk, VA.Core Skills: Deep familiarity with Linux OS management, shell scripting, basic networking, and data center hardware/virtualization maintenance.Preferred Qualifications (Bonus)Experience supporting DoD joint training environments or defense contracts (JS J7 / DDJT).Familiarity with DevSecOps tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, or Terraform).DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II Certification (e.g., Security+ CE or equivalent).TECHEAD's mission is to make our associates successful by placing them in the right environment so they can grow and prosper.
