Apply now »Date: May 20, 2026Location: Archdale, NC, US, 27263Company: Hubbell IncorporatedJob OverviewThe Lean Manufacturing Specialist is responsible for implementing and sustaining Kaizen throughout the Archdale plant and focusing the facility on and becoming a world class Lean manufacturing operation with a high involvement culture. This includes training employees on Lean tools, planning and coordination/leading of Kaizen events, monitoring performance vs. improvement targets, sustaining changes made during events, and execution of continuous improvement projects.   A Day In The LifeEvery Day At Hubbell Is Different And You’ll Contribute In Many Ways. On Any Given Day, You’ll Make a Difference ByPrioritize, coordinate, and plan all Kaizen activities, including events/teams.Follow-up on Kaizen events to ensure 30-day and Parking Lot follow-up items are completedMonitor and report on 90-day sustainment of Kaizen event improvements.Train employees on the Principles of Lean Manufacturing and other Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement techniques.Perform the role of Facilitator, Team Leader or Team Member on Kaizen events, and facilitate event training on the first day of events.Contribute to and promote Continuous Improvement/Kaizen activities throughout the plant.Actively pursue avenues for reducing waste.Implement and monitor sustainable visual management programs departmentally; including 5S, schedule consistency, and other shop floor reporting.Promptly communicate to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager any issues that may act as impediments to the success of the continuous improvement culture.Support Plant-wide Safety initiatives.
