Concierge, Hope Lodge - Wed - Thurs (3:00pm - 11:00pm)

And the people who answer it are fulfilled.The Concierge serves as the first point of contact for guests, managing front desk operations and ensuring a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment. This role assists with guest check-in/out, responds to inquiries, and coordinates transportation and security.This is a part-time Concierge opening at our Hope Lodge facility in Burlington, VT. The schedule for this role is 3:00pm - 11:00pm, Wednesdays and Thursdays, $18.59 per hour.This role is also eligible for shift differential pay for hours worked outside of the regular day shift:Shift Differential Pay:10% - Monday through Friday, for hours worked after 6:00 PMESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Greet guests and manage check-in and check-out procedures (30%)Provide information about lodge amenities and community resources (20%)Coordinate transportation & EMPOWER Program services and schedules (15%)Respond to guest requests, concerns, and emergencies (15%)Maintain organized front desk area and accurate guest records (10%)Monitor lobby security and implement safety protocols (10%)EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma or EquivalentAdditional education or training in hospitality management or customer service is a plus.Previous experience in hospitality, guest services, or a related field is preferred.Minimum 1 year of Customer Service ExperienceKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:Strong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and multitaskProficiency in Microsoft Office and multi-line phone systemsExcellent customer service and problem-solving skillsAbility to work flexible hours including evenings/weekendsTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:Minimal travel requiredPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:The role may require extended periods of standing and walking, particularly during front desk duties and while assisting guests.Occasional lifting and moving of luggage, packages, or other items may be necessary when assisting guests with check-in, check-out, or transportation.Some manual tasks, such as carrying luggage or opening doors for guests, may be required during guest interactions.The role may involve physical endurance to handle the demands of a fast-paced environment, including managing multiple tasks and assisting guests throughout the day.
