Role Description We are seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on-site in Spring Valley, NY. The RN will provide direct medical care and monitoring for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities in our organization. Responsibilities include administering medications, conducting health assessments, ensuring compliance with medical regulations, and providing education on health management to individuals and staff. Collaboration with healthcare providers and maintaining detailed records are also integral aspects of the role. Qualifications License and experience: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York with clinical experience, preferably in developmental disabilities or long-term care.Clinical skills: Expertise in administering medications, conducting health assessments, and managing medical documentation.Communication and teamwork: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with healthcare teams, individuals, and their families.Organizational skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain detailed records, and prioritize responsibilities efficiently.Flexibility: Willingness to work on-site and adjust to dynamic healthcare needs of the individuals served.Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred but not required.Additional experience: Familiarity with state healthcare regulations and developmental disability services is advantageous.
