Early Childhood Cook

Overview To provide Messiah Child Development Center with nutritious meals and mealtime experiences in compliance with the Michigan Food program and support in providing a warm and nurturing quality early childhood environment in which each child can grow physically, emotionally, intellectually, socially and spiritually. Job responsibilities will be discussed during an interview. Qualifications include: Ability to relate joyfully and sensitively to children, co workers and families. Evidence of emotional maturity and stability Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position Keeps up to date and follows the guidelines of the Health department both when preparing and serving meals Serv Safe certification is preferred. Cooperation with other staff members, helping to create a positive team atmosphere Evidence of sufficient judgement to handle crisis situations. Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $14.00 per hour Work Location: In person
