Information Technology Asset Manager

JD :Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of all IT assets, including hardware,softwareOversee the entire asset lifecycle—from procurement to retirement, ensuring thatall processes meet organizational requirements.Coordinate with various teams such as IT, engineering, procurement, and financeteams to track asset movements, assignments, and disposals, maintainingaccuracy throughout.Develop and implement asset tracking, auditing, and reporting processes thatintegrations, automations to a no touch process.Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on asset inventory, utilization, and compliancefor service owner, project requests and management review.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to asset data integrity with associatedsystems in IT infrastructure, guaranteeing compliance with internal and externalstandards.Maintain application & infrastructure required for asset management.Establish best practices in IT asset management.Required SkillsDemonstrated hands-on experience managing IT assets in a medium to largeorganization, with a proven track record of meeting compliance requirements.Strong working knowledge of OpenText or similar enterprise asset tracking tools.Solid understanding of IT infrastructure components, including servers, storage,networking, and end-user devices.Proven Integration knowledge & experience combining business applications andinfrastructure servicesStrong knowledge in understanding business needs and delivering reportingrequirements.Strong knowledge of web applications, their deployment.Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with strong attentionto detail and compliance requirements.Ability to communicate eAectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Experience with ITIL or other IT service management and compliance frameworks.Experience with defining & building a process; process automation and workflowopimization within asset management systems.Familiarity with compliance standards and audit requirements related to IT assets,such as SOX, GDPR, or ISO certifications.Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.Certification in IT Asset Management e.g. CITAM or compliance is advantageous.
