Job Summary:This role involves performing a comprehensive range of interventional radiology procedures, including neurological and body studies, for predominantly adult and geriatric patient populations. The professional will manage a daily caseload of 13 to 17 procedures, utilizing specialized x-ray equipment to assist with interventions such as stents, angioplasties, biopsies, and stroke interventions.Location:Winston Salem, North Carolina, United StatesResponsibilities:- Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures including stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrograms, kyphoplasty, peripherals, biopsies, and drainages.- Conduct upper and lower extremity, abdominal, pelvic, genitourinary, vascular, venous access, and neurological studies.- Assist with stroke interventions and other specialized neuro procedures.- Operate specialized x-ray equipment to capture high-quality imaging.- Manage a daily caseload of 13 to 17 procedures.- Provide care for predominantly adult and geriatric patients, as well as some adolescents.Required Skills & Certifications:- Active ARRT certification.- Active BLS certification.- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the field.- Prior traveler experience (first-time travelers are not accepted).- Inpatient hospital experience.- Neuro experience.- Experience with PACS and contrast administration.- Proficiency with Siemens and Phillips x-ray equipment.Preferred Skills & Certifications:- ARRT Advanced Certification.- Experience with EPIC and McKesson systems.- Proficiency with Acuson equipment.- Experience with ablations.- Background in Outpatient, OR, ER, Level I trauma, teaching hospital, or community hospital environments.Special Considerations:- Strict Time Off policy: Requested Time Off (RTO) after booking is not permitted and cannot be negotiated onsite. Call-offs or unapproved RTO may result in contract cancellation.- On-call rotation required: Primary call is approximately one day every 4 weeks and every 5th-6th weekend. Back-up call is approximately 7 days (including a weekend) every 9 weeks.- Mandatory hospital orientation during the first week requiring daily availability for classes.- Scrubs are provided for the assignment.- No floating requirements.- Local candidates are accepted.Scheduling:- First shift schedule, Monday through Friday (5x8 hours/day).- Staggered start times between 0700 and 0830.- Weekends and evenings/nights are required as part of the on-call rotation.,
