Shipping and Material Handler

Position SummaryReceives incoming materials and kits, stages materials for production, and packages and ships finished products.ResponsibilitiesUnload incoming trucks and verify receipts.Move kits into staging and production areas.Package finished goods for shipment.Prepare shipping documentation.Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely.Maintain shipping, receiving and staging areas.This is not intended to be a comprehensive list of job duties. Other job related responsibilities will be assigned as needed.RequirementsDemonstrated organizational ability and ability to work effectively under deadlines and with multiple agendasExperience in a manufacturing environment, and work with an ERP system preferredAbility to operate various material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts).Computer skills including familiarity with OfficeAbility to work, and communicate across various departmentsAbility to receive and retain instructional informationMust be able to communicate (read, write and speak) the English language clearlyMaintain all safety standards and guidelines at all times.Physical RequirementsMust be able to perform the duties required for material handling, including the ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds. Must be able to stand, bend, or work in various positions throughout the shift.
