Inventory Specialist - 1st Shift

Inventory Specialist Job Overview: We seek a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Inventory Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing various aspects of inventory control, including but not limited to Inventory reporting, Purchase Order processing, and Materials acquisition. This role involves handling inventory counting and reporting via SAP and Cin 7, purchasing order processing, and communicating with the sales team for inventory updates and stock predictions. Key Responsibilities Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular audits. Track inventory levels and reorder stock as needed. Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely receipt and distribution of goods. Monitor inventory transactions and investigate discrepancies. Monitor stock levels for stock agreements and maintain agreed levels of inventory. Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends and issues. Flow transactions and manage transactions through SAP Purchase Order Processing: Create and manage purchase orders for replenishment of stock. Communicate with suppliers to confirm order details, pricing, and delivery schedules. Track and follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely delivery. Reconcile purchase orders with deliveries and invoices and resolve any discrepancies. Communication with the Sales Team: Collaborate with the sales team to provide regular updates on order statuses. Address any queries or concerns raised by the sales team related to order processing. Work with sales team to predict inventory needs Office Support: Provide general office support to ensure smooth operations. Assist in coordinating office activities and maintaining a well-organized workspace. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent with additional education and/or 2 years’ experience with supply chain management. Proven experience in inventory management, purchase order processing, and office support roles. Experience with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is highly desired. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Proficient in using office software and inventory management systems. Effective communication skills for collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and external stakeholders. Attributes: Dependable and reliable.
