DescriptionBlock Tech I – Texas Speed LocationThis position is responsible for the Block Department support as listed below for Texas Speed andPerformance.Reports to Block Department Manager.Pay Range: $16h-$19hSpecific Duties And ResponsibilitiesEngine Tear Down Process (Label components and maintain traceability)Visual Inspection of all blocks from start to finishPrep blocks and visually inspect blocks before machiningPrep blocks for engine builds (install cam bearings and plugs)Prep sleeves and block for sleeving (deburr sleeves / heat block in oven)Maintains positive working relationship with manufacturing personnel and other staff members to support a positive workplace environment.Responsible for implementing and enforcing industry standard safety procedures throughout the block department.Performs and executes all other duties assigned by direct manager.RequirementsMinimum Requirements/Qualifications:Dynamic, high-energy individual with a track record as an effective communicator and uses a collaborative approach to problem solving.Exceptional Mechanical AbilitiesBe able to use Measuring Equipment (Mics, Calipers, Bore Gauge, ect..)
